Ashdowne is a semi-detached cottage in the Northumberland village of Longframlington. The cottage has a ground floor twin room, and a spacious first floor super king-size double room. There is a ground floor bathroom with bath, shower over, basin and WC. The kitchen is well-equipped, and the sitting room has a dining area and a multi-fuel stove in Inglenook fireplace. Outside is off road parking and an enclosed rear decked garden with furniture and BBQ. Ashdowne makes a wonderful base from which to enjoy the coast, countryside, castles, Cragside and more! Just 10 minutes drive to the west is the National Trust's Cragside House and Gardens, whilst 15 minutes in the opposite direction will lead to the Heritage Coast and miles of clean, sandy beaches. The historic town of Alnwick, with its impressive Castle and Garden, is only six miles to the north whilst the spectacular National Park is also within easy reach.
