Barn owl Cottage is based at the Welsh Reindeer Retreat which is set between Carmarthen and Kidwelly in West Wales. The cottage was originally let as a Holiday Cottage but this year for the first time we are pleased to introduce it to our thriving Bed and Breakfast Business. The property has two double bedrooms and a twin-bedded room and can accommodate a family of up to six people. The property has its own self-contained garden, and we do welcome one small well behaved family dog at no additional cost. In addition, there is a brick barbeque for those warm summer evenings. The downstairs accommodation is open plan which is perfect for a family break. The kitchen is fully equipped with Oven, dishwasher, washing machine and fridge freezer. All bedrooms have flat screen televisions. Bedding and Towels are also provided. There is one bedroom downstairs and two shower rooms. Toilets are upstairs and down. We allow one small well behaved family dog to stay at no additional charge. As we have livestock here we ask for all dogs to be kept on a lead when anywhere other than the barn owl enclosed garden area. Whilst we have set up the booking form for one to four people but if there are additional people in your party and you want to book for more people please contact the owners who reside on site. There is the possibility of booking a hot breakfast option subject to availability on the days you require. The package we have offered includes a continental breakfast for each day of your stay. The property has two private parking spaces.

The Welsh Reindeer Retreat The Welsh Reindeer retreat is set in 15 acres of beautiful scenery and rolling hills. We have several animals on site including our small herd of Reindeer. Unfortunately, due to the nature of the land and our location on the side of a hill we are unable to offer Wheel Chair access. Parking is on a slight incline and there is gravel under foot. There is a beautiful river walk along our own private beat on the Gwendrath Fach.
