Beachgrass is a light filled detached three bedroomed bungalow with private enclosed south facing back garden. It is located in a quiet residential cul de sac and offers a peaceful retreat to get away from it all. The property offers an ideal base for couples and families wishing to visit the many tourist amenities nearby. Beachgrass offers home from home accommodation just a fifteen minute walk from South Beach. (Stubborn Sands). The property is disability friendly with a portable door ramp available and grab rails in the shower. An accessibility statement is available on request. Children are welcome. The area is full of tourist attractions to entertain children and we provide many suggestions in our house manual. There are board games provided in the lounge. A travel cot and high chair are available on request for an extra fee. Our guests are welcome to bring one dog (sorry no cats). Our house manual contains suggestions for dog friendly beaches and pubs in the area. Please note after we have received notification of your reservation we will send you a rental agreement which includes extra information on the facilities.

West Norfolk has a lot to offer with its rural landscape next to the sea.

Heacham is a large coastal village full of amenities with a well stocked Tesco Expess, Lidl, bakery, pet food shop, post office, several pubs and take aways to suit all tastes - fish and chips, kebab, pizza, Indian and Chinese takeaways. Our house manual provides information of where to buy food locally and places to eat which includes recommendations of where we have enjoyed meals. Heacham has a west facing beach offering spectacular sunsets. South Beach (Stubborn Sands) has a wild landscape walkable to Snettisham beach and RSPB Snettisham bird reserve. North Beach has a concrete promenade that is walkable past the many pretty beach huts all the way to South Beach, Hunstanton where the amusements are located. Cafes are located at both South Beach and North Beach for a cuppa and snack. Norfolk Lavender is located on the A149 just outside the village. Hunstanton a traditional seaside town is only a short drive away as is Sandringham the royal residence. There are many resorts along the coast to explore - Holme next Sea (walk through the golf course to access the beach), Thornham, Brancaster, Holkham and Wells next Sea. The Coast Hopper provides bus travel all the way to Cromer with a bus stop just a few minutes walk from Beachgrass should you wish to take a break from driving. Golf courses are located at Heacham, Hunstanton and Holme next Sea. Bird lovers can visit RSPB Snettisham and RSPB Titchwell.
