The cottage was formally the back annexe to one of Whitby’s large Victorian Guesthouses. It is a little hidden getaway accessed through the main house or through its own entrance via the alley behind the address. It stands out with its pale blue cladding and sign on the side of the cottage. There is a small outside space with plants and garden furniture for you to enjoy during your stay. Once inside, you will find the property light and airy. The bedroom, with double bed has a high ceiling and open feel. The kitchen has everything you would need including a bistro table and two chairs to eat in comfort. The lounge hosts a spiral staircase up to the bathroom and bedroom, and has a log burner for the colder nights that gives the cottage a cosy touch. Perfectly situated on the west side of Whitby close to Skinner Street, where you will find lots of quirky shops, bars and eateries. The cottage is within walking distance of the famous whale bone arch and West Cliff seafront. Due to the age of the property it is not wheelchair accessible. Open all year round, whatever the weather, come and enjoy, perfect for 2 or just for you.
