Climbers Cottage is a characterful and stylish Yorkshire stone house set on the beautiful village green with great views of the dale. Recently renovated to a high standard, the cottage is full of original features. Downstairs is a spacious open plan kitchen lounge and diner, furnished with a mix of bespoke and antique furniture. There is a well equipped kitchen with range cooker and breakfast bar. The room a comfortable seating area, and has bi-folding doors that open fully to the enclosed cottage garden and outside decking area, complete with outdoor furniture, the perfect spot for a BBQ. Downstairs also has a separate cosy lounge with views out onto the village green. The original inglenook fireplace houses a cast iron wood burning stove. The lounge has two sofas one of which is a sofa bed. There is a separate downstairs WC and utility room with laundry facilities. Upstairs there are two bedrooms and spacious house bathroom. One bedroom has a double bed and is furnished with bespoke and antique furniture, the other is a twin bedroom. The twin room also has a third full size pull out bed. The cottage has a wide selection of books and games to enjoy during your stay.

We love spending time in Rosedale and exploring the beautiful countryside on foot and by bike. We're keen outdoor enthusiasts so make the most of it hiking, biking and popping over to the coast for a spot of surfing too! As keen foodies we like to make the most of the local cafes, delis and pubs of Rosedale and surrounding villages and towns.

Rosedale Abbey is in the heart of the North York Moors National Park, and the perfect jumping off point for visiting the villages, towns and attractions in North York Moors and Coast. Rosedale itself, is a small picturesque Yorkshire village. It’s a great place to unwind and relax, with galleries, cafe’s serving delicious food and 2 excellent pub’s within a 5 minute walk. The diverse local landscape is filled with rolling dales, forests and rugged moorland, perfect for exploring on foot or by bike, whatever the season. The spectacular setting also makes it a mecca for artists and artisans. Nearby is beautiful and historic Helmsley and the bustling market town of Pickering, home to the North York Moors Steam Railway and Flamingoland theme park and zoo.
