Cloister Park Cottages are in the hamlet of Frithelstock in North Devon, which is surrounded by farmland and beautiful country views. There are two self-catering cottages in the former stables to the house. The Stables sleeps 4 and The Coach House sleeps 2. Both cottages are available to rent on a weekly basis and our changeover day is Saturday. We do accept pets on request only. One pet per cottage. The Stables sleeps 4. The two bedrooms are on the ground floor and the living area with open plan kitchen is on the first floor so that guests can enjoy the beautiful rural view. Bedroom 1 is a double room with ensuite shower room. Bedroom 2 is a twin room. There is a main bathroom with an over bath shower. The Stables has it's own enclosed patio with table and chairs. The Coach House sleeps two. This is a cosy cottage with a stable door leading in to the open plan living and kitchen area. Upstairs is the bedroom with a king size bed and ensuite shower room. There is a little patio area outside the front door with a table and chairs. ​ Both Cottages are fully equipped and have free Wifi. Linen and towels are provided. Please bring your own beach towels.

The nearest town is Great Torrington. Just 2 miles away are the spectacular RHS Rosemoor Gardens with an arboretum and herbaceous borders in a breathtaking setting. The Tarka Trail is 1 mile down the hill. 30 miles of its 180 miles is traffic free between Braunton and Meeth, using the old railways of North Devon, perfect for cyclists and walkers. The beautiful beaches of North Devon are not far away including Instow, Saunton Sands, Woolacombe, Croyde and Westward Ho! to name a few. Don't miss out a visit to Braunton Burrows near Saunton Sands Beach, which is one of the largest sand dune systems in the British Isles. There are many villages to visit on our coastline, including picturesque Clovelly built on a steep hillside above the sea, Appledore with it’s colourful fishermen’s cottages, famous Lynton and Lynmouth with the cliff-top railway, and Hartland Point with its breathtaking sea and coastal views. The Cottages are also perfectly placed to explore stunning Exmoor and dramatic Dartmoor. Lundy Island, lying just 10 miles off the coast is home to a fascinating array of birds and seals, and can be reached on Lundy's own boat from Bideford Quay.
