Welcome to our quiet, cosy end of terrace home in York. Our beautiful 2 bedroom house is the perfect way to explore the city and escape all the crowds after your adventures. With free on street parking, views of the minster from the garden, and lots of open space inside, consider this your home away from home... We welcome groups and families of up to 4 people to retreat at the home away from home. With newly fitted carpets and a king sized bed, this is the perfect space in which to relax The space GROUND FLOOR: As you walk through the main entrance way you'll see a flight of stairs that takes you up to the first floor. On the left is the spacious living area with two plush sofas. Plenty of room to relax and stretch out after a long day exploring York. You'll also have accses to Freeview and all the streaming servieces you could ask for such as Netflix, BBC and Disney+ (Guests will need to login to their own accounts) Plenty of options to keep you and the whole family entertained. Going through the living room to the kitchen which is fully equipped with all the essentials you'll need during your stay. If you're fond of home cooked meals and breakfasts at home, make use of the built in breakfast bar that seats up to 4 people. Ideal for those social coffee mornings. Please make use of the kettle, toaster, microwave and dishwasher during your stay There is also a highchair for guests to use if you're bringing little ones with you. Just ask if you have any questions about this. If you'd like to borrow a travel cot, we can get one set up in advance. (Please let us know when you make your booking. Cot bedding is not provided.) Complimentary tea/coffee is provided if you would like a hot drink on arrival. We also offer a small complimentary kitchen pack consisting of dishwasher tubs, washing machine tubs, fairy liquids and sponges. You'll also find the washing machine, boiler and thermostat in the kitchen.

The property is located on a quiet street tucked away from the main road. Nearest local corner shop - Nisa Local - 3 min walk away Supermarkets - Morrisons in Acomb 1.5 miles away, Tesco Extra 1.9 miles away, Aldi 2.3 miles. Homestead park is only 1 mile away, with nice gardens and a play area. Holgate Windmill 10min walk away. It's a working windmill you can go inside and they sell flour. Italian/pizza takeaway 3 min walk. The Ainsty pub is a 10 min walk The Fox is in a lovely historic building 10-15 min walk selling real ales. Has a lovely large beer garden, often has live music and food vendors in summer. Please note there are train tracks behind the property which may produce some noise. Getting around York station is around 1.5 miles away (20-30 min walk). The bus stop going into York is 2 mins away. To reach the centre guests can catch the 5, 5A, 24 or 22 buses from Boroughbridge Rd
