The Nook is a cosy cottage in the beautiful conservation area of Sedgeford, Norfolk. Countryside setting and under 5 miles from the stunning North Norfolk beaches and coastal walks, The Nook has been lovingly refurbished and restyled using reclaimed materials and vintage finds along with the practicalities of modern living. The Nook has a large bedroom, luxurious shower room, cosy lounge with log burner and dining area, plus a stylish kitchenette with luxury appliances and coffee machine.
We love that our guests love the level of detail we have put into renovating The Nook. The cottage was built in 1800 and we bought the cottage in August 2022. After 3 months of renovating we opened our doors to our first guests and have only received positive feedback. Only the flooring in the bedroom remains in the cottage, absolutely everything else has been replaced and curated with reclaimed and salvaged materials to help with our eco-friendly ethos of sustainability. We have always done the same in our own homes and love renovating and bringing the character to life in old buildings. We currently live in an old courtroom and have loved re-instating old features to compliment the 1872 building.
Sedgeford is a conservation area surrounded by beautiful countryside but only 2 miles from the nearest beach. North Norfolk has some of the best beaches in the country and some very individual villages and market towns with so many independent shops, cafes, restaurants, pubs etc. within a very short drive. So much to explore.
