Craigmoor Cottage is a large newly renovated and uniquely refurbished traditional Cotswold stone cottage built around 1800; located at the end of a quiet lane that leads directly onto the river Windrush. The cottage is at the heart of Bourton-on-the-Water with pedestrian access to the High Street, the footbridges and the footpath along side the River Windrush. The cottage was refurbished to offer true luxury in keeping with its history with a plethora of traditional features such as oak beams and exposed Cotswold stonewalls. Particular emphasis has been given to the finishings and the decorative items. Our aim is to provide a spacious, calming luxury cottage. Other things to note Duvet covers, sheets and towels All the duvet covers, sheets and pillow cases are made from Egyptian Cotton with 400 Tread count, satin weave to create luxurious softness, subtle sheen and a silky touch that feels gorgeous against the skin. Moreover, the luxury pima cotton towels are soft and sumptuous with a wide border.

I have renovated this cottage to a very high standard, through this process I have respected the history and the traditional features of Craigmoor Cottage. I started this process without knowing if there is a demand for this level of finish at the cotswolds. I have chosen Bourton-on-the-Water as I believe it offers everything that a visitor may seek.

The neighbourhood in our view is as important as the cottage. Craigmoor is located in a part of the Bourton-on-the-Water that is a hidden gem full of traditional character cottages. Bourton-on-the-Water is often referred to as the “Venice of the Cotswolds”, due to its character and beauty. Although it is one of the most popular tourist spots, this Self-Catering rental cottage offers quiet tranquillity. Situated in one of the most elegant areas of Bourton-on-the-Water, it overlooks a large green and all of the surrounding properties are old traditional Character Cotswold stone cottages. It is also perfectly located for exploring other beautiful villages and towns of the Cotswolds. The cottage is at the heart of Bourton-on-the-Water with pedestrian access to the High Street, the footbridges and the footpath along side the River Windrush. In addition to the lovely walks in the village centre, the cottage also boasts the benefit of several public footpaths, two of which begin opposite the cottage.
