Dale house is a 400 year old stone farm house in a rural and beautiful location within the Forest of Bowland. We have lovingly restore the farm house and now offer 3 rooms for bed and breakfast. We are well located for guests wanting to explore Bowland and also the Yorkshire Dales and we pride ourselves in providing a wonderful stay with some fantastic food.

Dominique has worked as a chef for the Roux brothers, Terence Conran, the Houses of Parliament and lately Aiden Byrne, so you will be sure of some good food during your stay. I love the outdoors and especially riding my varied bicycles. Andrew is a Lancastrian and has plenty of local knowledge to share. He is a keen marksman, fisherman and nature lover. Our ethos is to serve our guests with seasonal and sustainable food, often home grown or foraged. We can also provide you with lots of local knowledge to help you get the best from the area, be it walking, cycling, running, birdwatching or just relaxing with a good book in the garden.

We are rural! There is no local pub to walk to, however our location is fabulous and we serve delicious evening meals, so you don't have to travel for food after a day exploring the area. You can bring your own wine! If you would like to dine here then I will need a couple of days notice. The Yorkshire 3 peaks and the Dales are very close, as is Gisburn Forest and Stocks reservoir. There is loads to do if you like the countryside. Just get in touch and we'll be happy to give advice and suggestions.
