Dales View Cottage is a traditional stone built property with bright airy rooms and stunning views. A private south facing garden and patio area with views across the valley. Fully refurbished throughout there is a spacious lounge, kitchen, diner with smart TV inc Netflix. At the rear of the property is a spacious boot room (including washing machine) that provides access to the rear garden. There is also a separate downstairs toilet. Upstairs, two spacious king size bedrooms are served by a modern bathroom with large walk in shower and separate bath. Both bedrooms are fully furnished with wardrobe, chest of drawers, dressing table and bedside tables. Allocated parking is immediately outside the property on a private road. The property is in easy walking distance to the town centre where you can access pubs, bars, cafes and a range of local shops including convenience stores. There is also a separate garage that can be used for safe bike storage. We allow one well behaved dog for which we add twenty pounds per stay to cover additional cleaning costs. Dogs are not allowed upstairs. We prefer dogs not to sit on furniture but if they are used to doing so at home please take your own covers for the sofas. Dogs must not be left on their own in the property. Please make sure you clean up after your dog to ensure no dog mess is left in the garden or any of the communal areas surrounding the property.

We bought Dales View Cottage as we loved the peace and quite of the beautiful Yorkshire Dales and the magnificent views from this lovely stone property. We have hosted in the past at properties in Ambleside and Buxton and have achieved and maintained 5 start ratings for both properties. We decided to sell these properties and take a break from hosting a few years ago as work and other commitments meant we could not devote the time we wanted to hosting. We have spent 8 months renovating the property and hope that when you guests stay they love it as much as we do. We try to think of everything and make your stay a "home from home". Andrew & Lesley.

Sedbergh is a picturesque, small market town, in the Yorkshire Dale National Park. the town boast views in all directions of the Howgills and rolling countryside with patchwork fields flanked by drystone walls. There are many walks directly from the property whether you prefer a gentle stroll along the river bank or a climb up one of the local fells. Sedbergh itself has a number of pubs, cafes and local shops all within easy walking distance of Dales View Cottage. You are also within easy reach of other local attractions including Dent heritage village, Kirkby Lonsdale, Hawes and the Lake District.
