Dory Cottage is a traditional three storey cottage situated just outside the town of Salcombe in Devon and benefits from good access to the coast. The cottage can sleep 6 people in two king size rooms and double, as well as two family bath and shower rooms The rest of the cottage is made up of an open plan living area with a kitchen, dining area and sitting area. To the outside of the cottage is off road parking for 1 car in a garage, and two terraced areas. This property accepts a maximum of 6 people including Cottage is most suited to families with school age children or active adults looking for a cosy cottage conveniently based in the heart of the town. It is not suitable for children under the age of five or anyone with a mobility impairment because it has two flights of steps from the garage to the front door, a steep narrow ladder staircase to an attic den and there is insufficient space for cots in the bedrooms.Children will require appropriate adult supervision due to road access, ladder staircase and elevated terraces.Strictly No Smoking

Salcombe is a popular destination for watersports enthusiasts, walkers and families looking for a holiday by the sea. There are several pretty beaches within a short distance, including North Sands and South Sands, plus the coves East Portlemouth on the opposite side of the estuary, just a short passenger ferry ride away. Also on your doorstep is the National Trust property Overbeck’s where you can wander through the subtropical gardens. Why not have a more adventurous day and try out the watersports available on the estuary including surfing, coasteering, kayaking or a more leisurely boat trip? Whilst staying in Salcombe, take advantage of the locally sourced seafood which is served in many of the restaurants, pubs, cafés and delicatessens.
