The property is located In the centre of Shaftesbury, with rolling countryside views at the back, over an area of outstanding natural beauty, and the High Street just around the corner, this accommodation offers the best of everything. Two bedrooms are available, with the option of a comfortable, spacious, double bedroom, overlooking the street or a small double with far-reaching views. The large double bedroom has a television and ample wardrobe space. The small double bedroom has no television. The ample bathroom is for guests alone, so you will be sharing with other guests if both rooms are booked out. Tea and coffee making facilities are available in the rooms. There are plenty of cafés serving breakfast very close by. A floor mattress can be made available for a third person or child (for an additional fee) in the larger double bedroom only. The room provides clean linen, duvet and towels and extra blankets. There is a hairdryer in each room and a fan for the warmer days. There are ironing facilities in the bathroom.

I live with my adult son and enjoy meeting people from all over the world and from all walks of life. We live with a very friendly Spaniel and a young cat, who stayed downstairs, although some guests enjoy meeting them. We both work from home and always have a creative project on the go.

Shaftesbury is a safe and friendly town with everything in easy walking distance. The house is just around the corner (1 minute walk) from the main high street with it's shops, cafes, pubs and restaurants and a 3 minutes walk from the famous Gold Hill, one of the most photographed views in Britain, with the Park Walk promenade and access to Castle Hill to see the view from the other side of town. A guidebook with recommended restaurants and attractions is left in the room.
