Hotel Du Vin Newcastle
Allan House, City Road, Newcastle upon Tyne, NE1 2BE, United Kingdom – Great location - show map
Fantastic location for the side of Town we were here to see - the Cluny was such a short walk from the hotel! The room was absolutely stunning and had the exact kind of aesthetic we love. The comfort was off the charts. Such helpful staff too. When we arrived we realised a bar of soap had become lodged in one of the sinks in the room, we told the reception staff on our way out for the night, when we got back, the sink was perfect and fixed. Lovely views too, we could see the Baltic, the Sage, and both bridges from the windows! Highly recommend.

Staff, location, room, helpful with changes in the reservation and upgrades, etc.

The staff had the most superb “can-do” attitude, accompanied by great friendliness and professionalism. Dog friendly. A very stylish and uplifting hotel.

We were allocated a spacious suite with fantastic views over the River Tyne. We enjoyed an excellent service in the bar and restaurant and the food was very good. As you would expect, the bistro has a good wine list including excellent 'Maison' house wines that are very fairly priced. The buildings that make up this hotel and bistro offer a brilliant example of how the regeneration of historic industrial units can create a unique environment. It is very impressive and pleasing on the eye throughout. All the staff that we encountered were very pleasant and helpful.

A lovely hotel which is in a great location. The staff are delightful , which makes this hotel a very special place to stay.

Excellent breakfast - really good food and service.

Lovely hotel with a good central location, high quality room and great staff. Due to Covid restrictions we didn't get to try the bistro but are sure it would have been great. Most definitely will stay here again.

This is a beautiful old building that as been tastefully modernist. Lovely rooms nice breakfast. You do feel safe in these strange times
