The Lake district is just over an hour's drive up the motorway with links to Preston and Lancaster. There are plenty of shops and amenities around, with Affinity outlet village, Asda, and McDonalds all within a mile of the property (and less than that if the estuary bridge is down). The apartment is well equipped with everything you need to stay including all kitchenware, bedding and towels, and a hairdryer
