Bathampton is popular suburb of Bath that is popular with families. You are a short walk from Kennet & Avon Canal which is a lovely walk into the centre of Bath. You can also easily access the Bath Skyline walk. In the village there are two pubs. The George next to the canal and slightly further away is The Mill on the River. For essentials there is a Spar Shop in the village and a small coffee shop. The house is only a 5-minute drive from the centre of Bath. For public transport, the D1 bus runs regularly throughout the day from the main road a couple of minutes away or you can use Uber. Once in the centre of Bath, the city is compact and we would recommend exploring on foot.
