Weve owned the chalet since it was built in the late 1960s. Its been loved & used by the family privately for holidays. It now needs to earn some money to help pay bills & secure it for generations to come. Weve refurbished the main room & kitchen. Nearly everything is new but ive kept some family pieces like Grandads chair, 1970s pyrex and melomine dishes. Weve added USB charging sockets and a sattelight flat screen gaming tv with 3 HDMI ports. All the bedding is new and everything has protective covers too !! Cooling fans & blackout curtains are provided. I dont provide towels 😁 Several outside seating areas with garden, woodland, mountain & distant sea vies. Although small you will find everything needed in our refurbished kitchen. Please note we still have our original 1960s mini bath and no shower yet. But theres lots of hot soft water. We think its part of the charm of this retro kitch chalet. The stunning Castell y Bere is 600 metres away, theres beaches and crazy golf in Tywyn and Aberdovey Golf Club is 10 km away. Tywyn has shops, eateries, restaurants, takeaways, pubs, post office, vets and chemists. If you ride motor bikes we can arrange road and off road tours if you bring your own off road \ off road bikes (or book in with local providers & hire). Fishing, boat trips, pony trecking, walks, hikes, crafts, villages, castles, ruins, bird spotting, steam trains and so much more for a wonderful happy holiday There is a pool table and a T.V. lounge. You can enjoy a morning swim in the heated outdoor swimming pool which is open from Whit sun until September, take a walk in the woods beyond the park and enjoy the splendid views, or if you prefer, there is the table tennis room. A laundrette equipped with washing machine, tumble dryer and ironing facilities is close by. Im sorry ive had to introduce a cancellation fee as people keep booking, blocking dates, cancelling, booking again and cancelling again causing great confusion & stopping other bookings

Hi i love this chalet with my heart & soul. its where i enjoyed wonderful holidays with my Granny, family holidays with my parents, holidays with friends and then my family. Now its time to share with you .... 😍 So what can you do during your stay ? As children we spent many happy days on site, playing in the woodlands. Then close by 10-30mins you have the ... idiic Dolgoch Water Falls and dog friendly walks. Please note these can be steep in places. Or catch the Tallyllyn Steam Train from Tywyn spending the day hoping on and off & sightseeing. You will journey through the valleys, taking in the amazing scenery en-route. The sea side towns of Tywyn and Aberdovey are a short drive away and offer dog & child friendly beaches, coastal walks, river walks, various dog friendly places to eat and a range of activities from water sports, crazy golf, tenis, football, golf etc Wonderful in land activities include lake side walks around Tallyllyn Lake, climb Cadair Idris and various woodland trails. The Mawddach Trail and Estuary is approx a 30 mins drive; offering cycling/walking routes, access via train/road or ferry to the seaside town of Barmouth. Also The popular market town of Dolgellau, Corris Craft Centre, King Arthur’s Labyrinth, various fishing locations. Then look at driving an hour and you can visit where i live and enjoy Portmadog, Highland Steam Train, Snowdon, Portmeirion, Pwllheli, Caernarfon Castle, Harlech and so very much more 😁

The site was built in the mid 60s in the gardens and woodlands of a lovely home. Eryri Chalet is built where the green houses once stood. The mountain is terraced with chalets nestling in amongst the woodlands and look out over the valley to mountains and the sea in the distance. Sadly due to its mountain position these chalets are not suitable for wheelchairs, frail or unsteady walkers. Young children must remain with adults for their safety on the steep slopes. Although i grew up scrambling about like a mountain goat ! Dogs are allowed on site but MUST be on a lead at all times. Woodlands is a wonderful, friendly & family orientated holiday location, please respect each other regarding noise, dogs, children etc Woodlands is only a couple of miles from Tywyn n wonderful beaches. In the heart of Snowdonia national park making it a great location for exploring mid & North Wales. Local area information Unhurried and unspoilt. That’s the coast and country of Mid-Wales. It’s an explorers’ paradise. With so much to see, you’ll find yourself coming back, year after year. Even so you will never exhaust all that this region has to offer. Start with a nostalgic ride on the Tal-y-llyn Narrow Gauge Railway. Starting at Tywyn it winds along to Abergnolwyn and then onto Nant Gwernol. It was the first railway of its kind in Britain to be saved from closure. On the coast is Aberdovey with its unspoilt harbour ideal for sailing and fishing. There’s an 18 hole Championship golf course and four miles of golden sands stretching all the way to Tywyn. Fairbourne has two miles of golden sands. The narrow gauge railway extends to Penrhyn Point where you can catch the ferry to Barmouth. The University town of Aberystwth is only 35 miles away. Tywyn is an attractive town with a good sandy beach, promenade, a selection of interesting shops and has a weekly market from May until September.
