This is a spacious caravan set in the owner's grounds adjacent to a CL Motorhome and caravan club site. Situated in a rural position, near Somerton in the picturesque village of Compton Dundon with a pub, post office and an abundance of walks and cycle rides available in the immediate area. The gate to the rear of the site gives direct access to the surrounding public footpaths including the Dundon Beacon Nature Reserve and Coombe Hill Wood. The caravan has a spacious open plan living area. There is seating outside of the Caravan where you can often find chickens roaming and see a nearby avairy and dove cote. Our superb location is an ideal base for exploring the many attractions that Somerset has to offer. The Mendip Hills, Polden Hills, the coastal beaches of Weston Super Mare, Burnham on Sea, nearby Fleet Air Arm Museum, Cheddar Gorge and Wookey Hole as well as Clarke's Designer Outlet village in Street.

There is minimal to no contact with the host however there will be people on the grounds at all times if assistance is required.

Glastonbury Tor & Abbey, Wells Cathedral and a choice of National Trust Properties, including Montacute House and Stourhead (which has world recognition) are all on our doorstep. Many picturesque and historical Somerset villages are only a few miles away eg- Wedmore, Sherborne and Shaftesbury - home of the classic 'Hovis' advert or a little further to Cerne Abbas and Milton Abbas. The Somerset Levels with nature reserves at Westhay and Shapwick Heath are essential for birdwatchers. There is also the wonderful Viaduct Fishery specialising in coarse fishing with a beautiful peaceful vista in which to relax in the heart of the Cary Valley. A visit to Somerset wouldn't be complete without a trip to Thatchers Cider with its restaurant and shop, or the mure rustic experience of Wilkins Cider Farm just down the road. You can find a bus stop opposite the property which will take you to Somerton, Street and Wells. Taunton, Bath and Bristol are all under an hour and provide the perfect choice for day trips.
