This friendly guest house is situated in a quiet, but convenient area of Torquay. It is just a 10-minute walk from both the sandy beach and the conference centre. The Harbour and Princess Theatre are just 15 minutes' stroll, along the beautiful esplanade. A home-cooked breakfast is made fresh to order each morning in the light, wooden-floored eating area. There is free Wi-Fi throughout the building. There is a small car park for three small cars only, subject to availability, and priority is given to electric cars that need to use our EV charge pod and have reserved the space by the charge pod. Each modern room at Haven House has an en suite shower room and simple, elegant décor. Features include a TV, tea and coffee making facilities, a seating area and free toiletries. The superior rooms all have an en suite bathroom which boasts a bath and a shower.

We are situated in Scarborough Road, arguably one of the best off sea front locations in Torquay. Only minutes walk from the beach, harbour, theatre, shops and night life. We are also moments walk from all the major bus routes, the train station and on the land train circuit. This makes us particularly suitable for those using public transport. Car drivers are welcome too but kindly note there is only a small car park at the rear for three small cars only, subject to availability on a first come first serve basis. There is a large Pay-by-App car park opposite the front door. There may be off street parking space which is free but subject to availability. We are three doors away from The Raffles, our friendly neighbourhood social club.

Mel and I have worked in many countries and with many people. We came to Torquay because of its beautiful scenery, friendly locals and most importantly...the clement climate, this is not called the English Riviera for nothing.

We are close to restaurants and pubs and we have a 'village' area, which boasts butchers, bakers and fishmongers, hairdressers and bookies, off licence and paper shop, churches and all a minute walk from our lovely quiet road.
