Lochend Farmhouse is located about 3 miles south-west of Aberdeen. It was built over 100 years ago and sits on a hill overlooking the surrounding countryside, the city and out to sea. The property was extended in 2006 and the original cottage was extensively refurbished in 2010. The original ceiling beams and timbers are exposed in the upper guest rooms giving a traditional, rustic feel. Lochend is located up a farm track and vehicles are parked right outside the house, so guests can relax knowing that their vehicles are safe. There is no passing traffic or pedestrians. Lochend is a perfect place for busy professional people to unwind and relax; or to work. There are large work desks in the guest rooms and fast wifi throughout the property. I can also provide printing facilities and logistical support (taxis, reservations etc etc) as required.

The neighbourhood surrounding Lochend is very quiet and peaceful. The garden is frequently visited by a variety of birds: woodpeckers, buzzards, jays, yellowhammers, goldfinches, and on very special occasions you can hear the resident owl hooting in the surrounding woods! Deer frequently appear in the fields and sometimes venture into the garden (if they are especially hungry).
