Located close to the stunning North Yorkshire Village of Kilburn which offers a gastro pub and any foodies looking for a special culinary treat have The Black Swan Michelin-starred restaurant at Oldstead just over a mile away. For such a small village, Kilburn packs a real punch! Home to the World-famous Robert Thompson (Mouseman furniture) and at the foot of the historical White Horse – there really is so much to enjoy and explore on your doorstep. You can also enjoy an exhilarating day out the Yorkshire Outdoors Centre which offers rough terrain driving in a 4×4 try quad bike trekking or clay pigeon shooting. Visit the mediaeval castle or the walled garden in Helmsley (10 miles) with its superb cafe. Helmsley also boasts many independent shops, tearooms, an arts centre and a Norman castle and is home to the National Birds of Prey Centre on the grounds of Duncombe Park.
