Neighbourhood information

Finlake Resort and Spa has everything you could need from a shop, café, restaurant/bar, swimming pool, gym, tennis court, spa, children’s play areas, and a host of activities for all ages and interests. But if you should decide to venture out, Luke’s Lodge is surrounded by incredible nature trails including Ideford Common, Dunsford Nature Reserve, and Canonteign Falls. Being on the edge of Dartmoor National Park too, you’ll find endless activities and places to explore. The local area is also steeped in history with a whole host of heritage sites such as Shaldon Castle, Torre Abbey, and Berry Pomeroy Castle only a short drive away. There are plenty of outdoor activities on your doorstep too including horse riding at Finlake Riding Centre, golf at Teign Valley which welcomes visitors, and water sports at Sea Sports in Teignmouth, to name just a few.
