The Audio kit item numbers did not match with the paper or laminated sheet with the layout / location key. So listen to the section and then go find it. FYI, once you get to 9, go to double digits, it is not over yet.

Check whether there are renovations and key areas closed off before booking/paying to go in. It may be amazing, but it wasn't when we went as so much was closed off with loud rennovations happening in April '24.

It's a great building, but it's privately owned, so you will need to pay to enter. There are ancient roman baths soon to be unearthed in the grounds in front of the Cathedral, once they have the funding unearthed.

Interesting place.

Interesting place. One of the overlooked connections is that with Flora MacDonald who helped Prince Charles Edward Stuart evade capture after the Battle of Culloden. Take your time and you will find memorials to Flora's husband and sons.

Hotel is well located within 10-15 walk of Exeter Cathedral, and easily accessed from both local railway stations. All hotel staff were pleasant and helpful. The en-suite bathroom looked recently updated with a decent walk-in shower.
