Calming and restorative annexe set in the heart of the Yorkshire Dales. Stunning views over Wharfedale from a private deck, to be enjoyed any time day or night. With almost zero light pollution, Buckden has a superb dark sky to stargaze. The annexe has recently been refurbished to an exceptionally high standard. Our aim is to create a cosy and comfortable space, in which to relax any time of year, having all the amenities required for a wonderful relaxing break.

I am delighted to recommend places to eat and drink, share circular walks from the doorstep and highlight places of interest in the surrounding area and further afield. The Dale is a place to do as little or as much as you wish.

At the geographical centre of the Yorkshire Dales, Wharfedale is truly stunning! Only a hop, skip and a jump to the local pub and shop. On the doorstep is the popular Dales Way and Lady Anne’s Way and several other circular walks start and finish here. It is the perfect location for seasoned walkers and cyclists or those exploring this area for the first time. Nothing better than combining hearty exercise with good food with several lovely pubs to satisfy your appetite and quench your thirst on the way. The George at Hubberholm is a saunter away along the banks of the River Wharfe and The Buck Inn is opposite. Parking is available outside the house however you will probably prefer to park off the thoroughfare by the Village Green (10 metres away). There is a large Car Park at the edge of the village, around 70 meters from the house. You will find an electric charging point there. There is a regular local bus service to Skipton.
