Middle Barton is a lovely village located in the heart of the Oxfordshire Cotswolds. Surrounded by beautiful countryside, this is the perfect spot for a getaway for those looking for rest and relaxation but it's also near to many major attractions, festivals and events. There is a shop in the village and the Cinnamon Stick, a very popular Lebanese restaurant (booking essential!) Nearby, there are also a whole host of characterful pubs and restaurants, shops and historical monuments. For those that like to explore the area on foot or by bike, why not visit Barton Abbey and enjoy the grounds of this lovely manor house or cycle the Steeple Barton loop or the Middle Barton circular. Take in the 16th Century Falklands Arms Inn on your way round the Great Tew estate or have an ice cream at Quince and Clover. The Cotswold Guy in nearby Gagingwell does the best cooked breakfast and let's not forget the Yurt at Nicholson's Nurseries for lovely lunches.
