Uppermill is a picturesque village on the edge Saddleworth Moor, right by the Pennine Way so great for walkers. There are also many popular events on in the Village - Whit Friday Band Contest, Rush Cart Festival, Annul Santa Dash. The village has many restaurants, pubs and coffee shops as well as a village store, Post Office Butcher, Greengrocer and many independent shops and there is always a welcoming atmosphere It is only a 25 minute walk to Greenfield station where hourly trains run to both Manchester and Huddersfield and Leeds, or a 5 minute drive with plenty of parking.
