In addition to the Stephen Joseph Theatre and Scarborough Open Air Theatre, you may catch a show at the Scarborough Spa. The Cleveland Way is a wonderful coastal walking route, and the old railway can be cycled to reach Whitby, where you may hike the 199 steps up to the abbey remains. This is an excellent location from which to explore Yorkshire's Heritage Coast and Moors.
