The house has always been buzzing with activity, our children and family have enjoyed this space and it has created many memories. We know the house is not perfect inside, it is quite a old house and has it's quirky features. You cannot beat the view from the main bedroom across Winchester College grounds and The Cathedral. You can see far and wide from the top floor too. The sound of the River Itchen is just wonderful. sitting out in the garden is delightful, watching and listening to what is happening on the other side of the river, taking in the sounds of the ducks, birds and swans. The walk into Winchester town centre is just 5 minutes. The city is full of history and has endless restaurants and coffee shops for you to enjoy. We try and supply many extras for your time with us, we have a high chair, travel cot, childrens games, books, family games etc. We also have lots of toiletries and essentials that you may have forgotten to bring. Winchester is a wonderful city full of history. The cathedral, the great hall and museums being the favourites, but plenty of little back streets and lovely walks to explore. Great choice of restaurants, coffee shops, and pubs to choose from. Please ask if you would like some recommendations.
