Excellent : The peace and quiet was lovely and relaxing. The scenery was beautiful. The hosts where friendly and quick to help if we needed them. whilst leaving us to do our own thing. The lodge was very clean and spacious and had everything you could possibly need. A real home away from home.

Tucked away in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty on Bodmin Moor, this charming retreat is a glorious escape away from it all, with stunning countryside views, a spacious garden and a plethora of wildlife on your doorstep. Moorland Breeze is a detached self contained Chalet that has been newly renovated and is set within a 17 acre small holding. We are set down a long private gated drive with ample private parking. From the comfort of the sofa you can look out over stunning countryside. Enjoy cosy nights in with the wood burner keeping you warm. There is a large fenced garden with horses roaming around in the field at the bottom of the garden. We are in a fantastic location to explore Cornwall. The beautiful village of Blisland is only minutes away where a well stocked village shop and post office can be found alongside a traditional country pub serving food and traditional ales.
A warm welcome awaits you at Moorland Breeze, we live on site in the main farmhouse and are always happy to help if you need advice on the local area.
While staying ensconced in your peaceful retreat is tempting if you fancy venturing out, there is plenty to explore in the surrounding area. First, enjoy a trip down to the Camel Trial, with over 19 miles of off-road track, eventually ending in Padstow, a beautiful harbour with an excellent variety of shops and restaurants. Next, visit the quaint village of Blisland, with a unique local pub and its beautiful 12th-century church. Blisland church is the only one in the UK devoted to a pair of saints, St Protus and St Hyacinth. Sir John Betjeman has written and spoken about Blisland Church on several occasions.
