Loved all of the little touches than Han had gone to the effort to make. Welcome biscuits, basic supplies like tea and coffee provided on arrival. Lovely welcome on the peg board. Han made sure to message to ensure we had arrived ok and checked in throughout the trip to ensure we weren't having any issues.

Lakeland Guest House, hotel in Pembroke Dock

Around 10 minutes’ walk from Pembroke Dock Ferry Terminal, Lakeland Guest House looks out over the Pembrokeshire hills towards the River Cleddau.

The conservatory off the lounge is amazing. Views are spectacular. Met and chatted with Ryan, who was lovely and friendly. Use of fridge was really handy. Bed very comfortable ... see comments below. Plenty of plug sockets, plus USB sockets. Hairdryer was a nice bonus. Large walk in shower with ok water pressure. Would definitely recommend and stay again.

We were actually down because of a sick relative, but as could only visit for short time spent time around the town, some beautiful views, obviously at the seaside, easy to find way around with, we really just ate in the hotel as their food was excellent and very reasonable but from being in town there were plenty places to choose from to eat

Pleasant town with an interesting history.

Pleasant town with an interesting history. The local people were friendly and helpful. There was a good corner shop very close by with larger supermarkets a short drive away. The local museum (a short walk away) was interesting with some good displays and the town is close by other attractions such as Pembroke Castle, Carew Castle etc and within reasonable driving of St Davids.

Pembroke Dock is a commercial port and ferry terminal for Ireland. It is totally seperate from Pembroke town which was interesting particularly with the castle. The Beggars Reach hotel was across the river from Pembroke in the village of Burton. We ate in the hotel and the Jolly Sailor Pub by the old ferry landing stage. The food was good and the atmosphere convivial.

The property had very clear check-in instructions, and was located right in the city centre - meaning we skipped having to take a taxi to the hotel (definitely worth considering while booking). Additionally, on a personal note - I checked in on a day where the weather around Pembroke Dock was a bit dodgy (a storm was forecasted). The owners allowed us to stay an extra 3 hours at the property. 10/10 for hospitality, would recommend to anyone looking for a quaint place to stay around Pembroke Dock at a very attractive price.

We stayed in the “flower room” as my son called it and it was exceptional. Tastefully decorated, spacious with bed for us and single bed for our son plus two massive armchairs! Very clean throughout. I was a bit worried about the shared bathroom but completely unnecessary. There were two bathrooms on our floor so there was never queue and they were spotless. Lovely owners, no hassle, very easy contactless check in and check out. Value for money. The best hotel out of 4 we have stayed in during our week in Wales.

Fantastic property with everything you need. Home from home. The facilities were great ,clean and very comfortable. Great location, close to local shopping centre with supermarkets to choose from. Lots of good restaurants, takeaways, and fast food restaurants within walking distance. There are lots of great places to visit just a short drive away too. All in all, it is a brilliant cottage for a family holiday to West Wales. Thanks for the very kind welcome pack too, hopefully be back when in the area next time.

Good place to stay; pretty much in the town center. Very nice and friendly staff, even drove our vehicle around to the parking area ( which was very small). No elevator and three stories, so be prepared. Rooms were fine, clean and comfortable. Breakfast was cooked to order and well presented. If you like to dine "al fresco" they have a nice overflow, outdoor dining area. inside dining was a bit restricted but well worth waiting for. Definitely recommend.

The property has been beautifully renovated to a very high standard. Particularly loved the secret door to the fantastic basement entertainment room. Pembroke Dock is an ideal location to base oneself for exploring the South West Coast of Wales. We had a lovely time and will certainly recommend Falcon House to others.

We realise that things have to be different with the pandemic resolving but there was no housekeeping. We had to get rid of our own rubbish. The hotel was a little tired with all the down time to be expected. But very tired. Garden was lovely staff were exceptionally nice and helpful.

The room was much bigger than expected (with a separate living area)and the breakfast was very good considering it was delivered to the room (due to covid). Extra milk, towels etc were readily available. Nice not to have to keep asking for things. The grounds were lovely too.
