The location was superb, just a short walk to the beach. The owners were extremely helpful and went above and beyond. The cottage itself is 5* - every comfort you could wish for! We had a fabulous time exploring the area and all the beautiful beaches.

Welcome to Old Manse Cottage, Durness which is located on the stunning north west coast of Scotland. Old Manse Cottage offers luxurious self-contained holiday accommodation in the heart of the Northern Scottish highlands, with comfort and indulgence at its core. This newly renovated cottage is an ideal base from which to explore all of the delights that the area has to offer, whether it's the exceptional fishing or stalking, hill-walking, doggy rambles or just simply a well-earned break away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life; this is the place for you. Situated behind the Church of Durness, Old Manse Cottage has its own access and private parking and can accommodate up to four people.
Catering for pre-prepared evening meals is available on request; please enquire at time of booking
Many local attractions; 3 fantastic beaches 'on the doorstep'; one with zip wire & all dog friendly; craft village hosting Cocoa Mountain chocolatiers & various pottery, jewllery & painting galleries , friendly golf club available to guests, salmon fishing & loch fishing can be arranged on daily permits; stunning scenery & walks for ramblers & doggy owners alike......
