Sitting in a secluded position between Hereford and Hay-on-Wye, Outshot Barn is a stylish and modern farm stay. Approached along a country lane you arrive on the farm to be greeted by free-roaming chickens and fields of livestock. It is a peaceful getaway where you can embrace the outdoors and enjoy time relaxing in the outdoor heated swimming pool (open Easter-October half term, weather dependant). The highlight of the barn is the open-plan living area with its high ceilings and bi-fold doors. Open these doors to the garden to create a wonderful space, serving meals al fresco and gazing out to the hills in the distance. It is a comfortable space that makes you feel at ease as you sink into the sofa and relax in front of the woodburner. The comfortable boutique-style bedrooms provide flexibility with a super king-size and a twin which can be a double on request. With plump, fluffy bedding and an en-suite each, you have your own privacy and space. The private outdoor heated pool is the icing on the cake at Outshot Barn. The pool is available from Easter to October half term (weather dependent). The pool can be used between 8am and 8pm. This property operates with arrivals on Mondays, Thursdays or Fridays. If you would like to check in on a different day please contact us to discuss the availability. Two well-behaved dogs are permitted at the cottage for an additional fee. Dogs must be kept on a lead when outside the cottage garden. While Outshot Barn is all on the ground floor, it is not suitable for wheelchair users as there is a gravel drive and the doorways are narrow. Outshot Barn is set on a working farm. At certain times of the year there is more activity than others. You can arrange a farm tour with the owners to meet the animals.
