Property information

A traditional mid terraced cosy cottage 200m away from the Severn Theatre and the river from which it takes it's name. Walk along the riverbank or over the Welsh Bridge and past a range of pubs, bars and eateries to access the 29 acre Shrewsbury Park known as the Quarry and the Dingle within it. Tarmac paths lead along the river and over the park. Watch rowers from the boat house opposite or eat in the pub next to it. Shrewsbury has a wealth of history (churches and old black and white buildings), national and independent shops, cafes restaurants, as well as cultural, agricultural, gigs and other events. Closer to home, the property offers a paved garden with seating area to the front and a stoned area to the back. Being a traditional cottage it has some beams and narrow stairs. The front facing bedroom sleeps 2 guests in single beds or these can be pulled together to form a kingsized bed. The large bathroom has a bath and shower over. The front facing lounge has a comfortable sofa to watch TV and a dining table and chairs to eat or work at, and the rear kitchen is well equipped and has a separate utility room with a washer, tumble dryer and space for coats and shoes.
