From the entrance hall, you'll lead straight into the quaint, country-style kitchen, complete with all the appliances, accessories, and utensils you'll need for your self-catering vacation. To the left the hallway opens into the family bathroom which has been newly renovated in an Art Deco style. There is a three piece suite, with a shower over the bath. Bath towels and hand towels are provided for guests. The bright open plan lounge dining room is furnished to a high standard. From here a door opens out onto the private garden where you'll find some outdoor seating. The ceiling is high, giving way to plenty of natural light. Wooden beams add a charming old cottage feel, making it especially cosy in colder weather! There is a Smart TV with applications for guests to use their own accounts and Virgin Media channels. WIFI speeds are as fast as 50Mbps. The master bedroom is located on the ground floor. In here you'll find a plush king size bed, chest of drawers for ample storage, dressing table with stool, and night tables with reading lamps on. Fresh white bedding and towels are provided (hand towel and bath towel per person), as well as miniature travel sized bottles of shampoo, shower gel and soap. Other items included are a washing-up pack, toilet roll and kitchen roll, which will last a couple of days. There is parking for up to two cars. The garage can fit a small car inside (2m wide), and there is a space directly outside the garage which can fit a medium car. Please note that before your booking begins, you will need to verify your details and ID through Know Your Guest. You will also be given the choice between paying a refundable deposit or buying a GBP40 non-refundable damage waiver. We suggest you buy the damage waiver as this protects you in case you cause accidental damage during a booking.

Access to York city centre is simple, via car, bus or on foot. Located in a quiet neighbourhood just less than 2 miles from York city centre, close to Clifton Moor retail park. On offer are a range of the UK’s leading retail brands including Dunelm, Matalan, Wilko and lots more. Aldi is a 5 minute walk or there is Tesco Superstore which is a 6 minute drive away. For entertainment, Tenpin bowling and VUE cinema. The Mulan offers delicious Chinese food. There's also a Dominoes, Subway, Gregs and KFC nearby. Puregym is within 5 minutes driving distance for existing members. ON FOOT: Take the riverside walk into the city centre along the River Ouse. Access is via Water End. A slightly longer walk into the city (approx. 45 minutes), but worth it for the great views. BUS: The nearest bus stop is located on Water Lane (the main road outside the estate) and is a 2 min walk from the house. The No.6 bus runs regularly (every 15 minutes) into York city centre during operating hours. Good transport links exist to the city.
