I'm very excited to welcome guests to my traditional but stylish Tyneside flat which I hope will be the start of a memorable stay in Newcastle. The property is a downstairs 2 bedroom flat with access to private rear yard. It has been designed with style and comfort in mind with a mix of bright and neutral colours throughout. My property still boasts some of the great original features of the Victorian style building. The flat will comfortably sleep up to 4 guests (one King bedroom, one double bedroom). This home away from home comes with 70Mbps fibre broadband and WiFi and smart TV with Netflix and other popular apps. Towels are also provided for your stay, along with shampoo, shower gel, hair dryer, tea, coffee and a selection of other essentials. Ground Floor: Entrance to the property is through a private front door leading to a small hallway area. All bedrooms and living space are accessible from this area. The living room doubles up as a dining space with a traditional table and 4 chairs and a large L shaped sofa with a TV. This space is great for relaxing during the day or in the evening. This then leads into a small but fully equipped kitchen with bench, cupboard space, fridge freezer and washing machine. To the rear of the property leading from the kitchen you will also find the bathroom with shower facilities. The outside space contains an array of beautiful plants as well as a small table and chairs for outdoor dining. Please note that before your booking begins, you will need to verify your details and ID through Know Your Guest. You will also be given the choice between paying a refundable deposit or buying a GBP40 non-refundable damage waiver. We suggest you buy the damage waiver as this protects you in case you cause accidental damage during a booking.

With free on-street parking and private yard, the flat is ideally located close to the metro for Newcastle City Centre (7 mins) and Airport (15 mins), as well as being walking distance to Freeman Hospital. The property has an abundance of local amenities such as shops, parks, takeaways, a pharmacy, Sainsbury's local, Majestic Wine and Lidl. The Brandling Villa (which does excellent burgers), Millstone (with a beer garden), The Victory (does a smashing Sunday Roast), Dominoes Pizza and other local restaurants and takeaways are all a short walk away. Nearby Jesmond Dene House (15 mins walk) offers fine dining in a lavish setting. More restaurants and bars can be found on Gosforth High Street (15 mins walk) and Jesmond's Osbourne Road and Acorn Road (20 mins walk). The property is only 15 mins walk to the Freeman hospital and 20 mins metro+walk to the RVI hospital. Jesmond Dene, is only a 10 minute walk away is a peaceful wooded valley that runs alongside the River Ouseburn. This is a great place to take a relaxing stroll or let the kids play in the play areas and discover the wildlife. Getting around South Gosforth Metro station can be found as close as the bottom of the street, only a few minutes walk. This will provide quick, easy and cheap transport to Newcastle (7 mins), Central Station (9 mins), the Airport (15 mins), Coast (20 mins) and Sunderland (41 mins). Busses to the centre of Newcastle travel along Station Road and Hadricks Mill Road.
