This gorgeous 2nd Floor apartment is situated in a Grade II listed building! With stunning views of York Minster and the ancient city walls, this one bed apartment is perfectly suited for a city break and even comes with free parking! My apartment has been furnished to a very high standard, with brand new furniture, fixtures and fittings. There is a separate kitchen to living dining room, a double bedroom and shower room. The perfect luxurious city break for a couple looking to explore historic York. Feversham House is a beautifully restored Georgian House dating back to 1901, originally built as a nurses quarter for the County Hospital. Being a Grade II listed building the communal interiors are grand and retain many of its original charming features. Sweeping wooden bannisters lead you up the stairs, where you'll find my apartment located on the top floor. Conveniently located opposite the City Bar Walls, my apartment is within minutes walk of the city centre where York's main attractions, restaurants, cafes, pubs and shopping is easily accessible. I recommend walking into the city centre via Monkbar. Here you will find Little Italy and Ambiente (Spanish tapas), as well as many charming cafes for lunch or cake! Explore Fossgate and Bishopthorpe Road and Stonegate. The Visitor Information Centre is located on 1 Museum St, York YO1 7DT which is a 10 minute walk away. National Trust Members can take advantage of heritage buildings too. Flamingo Land Theme Park/The East Yorkshire Coast/Leeds can be reached on the York Coastliner bus. Go to Stonebow bus stop). Sainsburys supermarket is a couple minute walk (across the supermarket car park) just behind Feversham House. There is also a small Asda on Layerthorpe which is a 5 minute walk away and a large Morrisons and Waitrose located on Foss Islands Road which are a 10-15 minute walk away or less than 5 minutes in the car.
