Situated a stone throw away from the lovely Dane John Gardens and a short walk into the City Centre for everything you need. We offer the very highest of standards and quality, adhering to stringent cleaning measures with hotel quality linens, fresh towels, self check-in and 24/7 Guest support. This cosy space is ideal for a stay when looking for a place in the City. The Monks Retreat is a perfectly formed 200 year old cottage minutes away from the City Centre, so close you have views of the Cathedral towers! The home has been recently renovated to a high standard and has everything you need to have an enjoyable stay. The stunning Dane John Gardens are round the corner and all the attractions of the City are just minutes away. When entering the property you will see the kitchen, the small space on the ground floor is equipped with cooking utensils, crockery and everything you will need during your stay, also including a small dining table with two chairs. Through the kitchen you can access the bathroom, this includes a toilet, sink and a good size shower. Carrying on into the property, upstairs is the bedroom. This space is the whole of the first floor. This room includes a lovely King size bed, which if needed can be separated into two single beds when requested. Important: We are committed to protecting our properties which is why we've partnered with Know Your Guest, the leading vacation rental guest-screening provider. Please note that before your booking begins, you will need to verify your details and ID through Know Your Guest. You will also be given the choice between paying a refundable deposit or buying a non-refundable damage waiver. We suggest you buy the damage waiver as this protects you in case you cause accidental damage during a booking.
