The village of Bacton is situated on the North Norfolk Coast approximately 10 miles from the famous seaside town of Cromer. Guests can grab a bite to eat at the local chip shop or café and will find the local store and gift shop a handy convenience. The area is renowned for its large sandy beaches, with Pilgrims Rest just 5-minutes from the nearest dog-friendly beach. There are many other beaches all within reach, including Walcott (15-minute walk away), Mundesley and Happisburgh (both 3.5 miles away). North Norfolk seaside favourite, Cromer, can be reached in under half an hour and offers a further platitude of attractions and things to do. If you want to head out for food or a beverage there are several eateries and pubs in proximity, including Poachers Pocket, The Lighthouse Inn, The Keswick and Oriental Garden. Further food and drink options are also available in North Walsham, which also offers a large supermarket. There are a range of great days out for families and children in the area, we would highly recommend a trip to BeWILDerwood. A fantastic adventure park with zip lines, jungle bridges and tree houses, which is drivable in under 25-minutes by car. Further afield you will also find the popular theme park Pleasurewood Hills which is about 10 miles past Great Yarmouth. Although a coastal cottage, the convenience of the location means The Norfolk Broads remains in reach, with boat hire available in Wroxham & Hoveton, which is 25-minutes away.
