This property is situated in it's own private grounds with private off road parking, in a very peaceful, relaxing residential area suitable for couples or a small family. It has a little secret garden area that leads to the house which is modern, freshly decorated, has two bedrooms and a bathroom with a shower. In the garden there is a play area and sand pit for the children, two patio areas, a lawn and conservatory, also has a shed and lean too for storing bikes etc. Plum Tree Cottage is a five-minute walk to beautiful sandy beaches and a cycle path which stretches right across the coast from Prestatyn all the way to Penmaenmawr, you could also take a nature walk along the estuary that leads you to Rhuddlan, an old historic town, short drive can lead you to many beautiful countryside areas and beyond. We also have hills and mountain range that surrounds the area for the walkers and mountaineering guests, such as Moel Famau, massive range of mountains in Snowdonia or maybe the Great Orm in Llandudno. And more.

We have lots of castles to visit starting with Abergele where you have Gwrych Castle, now famous for it's hosting of "I'm a celebrity get me out of here" with Ant and Dec. We have Conwy Castle, Rhuddlan Castle and Bodelwyddan Castle all very close to Plum Tree Cottage for you to visit. Approximately about 45 minute drive, you can visit the beautiful Island of Anglesey, with beautiful sandy beaches, Beaumaris Castle and plenty of beautiful walks around the island. Or for the more daring guests you could visit the fastest zip wire in the world at Penrhyn Quarry where you can take in the beautiful views of Snowdonia, or you can learn to surf at the adventure park in Dolgarrog, we are also close to Colwyn Bay beach where many jet skiing and competitions happen. Also, a short journey in the car, bus or by train ride are the lovely resorts of Llandudno, Rhos on sea, Colwyn Bay and the historic town of Conwy and the opposite way we have the fabulous cityu of Chester. These are our main local attraction areas as well as Towyn, Rhyl, Prestatyn.

Plum Tree Cottage is a very popular area for holidays with the children. It is a short walk to two pub restaurants and to the very popular beach bar where you can sit and watch the sun go down. It is also close to essential shops and the new Marina Quay Retail Park in Rhyl. A trip into Rhyl will provide you with an array of attractions to visit including the new Sun Centre- SC2, that also has an outdoor pool and TAG game, the Pavilion Theatre, crazy golf, cinema, bike hire, kite surfing, paddle boarding, crown green bowling, Sea-aquarium and numerous new places to eat. Look out for events being held at the arena in Rhyl. There are plenty places close by that you can go and visit such as the resort of Towyn which has two fairgrounds, arcades, fun pubs and the infamous Tir Prince Market. Christmas is a good time for a short break too. You can book a pantomime at Venue Cymru Llandudno, Rhyl Pavilion Theatre or even take a drive to Manchester where you can have a fabulous time at the Christmas market as well as their panto’s.
