Set on the water’s edge at Brundall in the Norfolk Broads, River Breeze lodge is set in a peaceful location overlooking a small, quiet marina just off the main River Yare. This delightful, detached holiday lodge is comfortably furnished throughout with a well-equipped, fitted kitchen. The living room doors open onto the sun veranda with steps down to own private garden with seating furniture right at the waters edge, ideal for relaxing in and soaking up the sun. Boats can be seen pass by the top of the marina getting to and from the main river. Wi-Fi access. There is private quay headed mooring to moor your own or hired boat (boat hire available locally - pre booking advised) and a slip way to launch your own boat (please advise if required). This location is good for fishing (check season, permits required). A bait fridge is provided. Electricity, bed linen and Wi-Fi included. Towels provided for number of guests staying. Also provided are tea towels, J cloth, sponge, washing up liquid, antibacterial spray, handwash, dishwasher tablets and a starter kitchen & toilet roll. Cot and highchair available - please request. River Breeze is located in the village of Brundall, the centre for boat building and boat hire, and which has its own railway station, shop/post office, mini-market, hairdresser, Chinese takeaway, fish and chips shop, fine restaurant and local pubs all serving good food; one is just across the river, and one is within a short stroll. An ideal touring base, with Great Yarmouth easily accessible by car or train. The surrounding seaside towns and villages of Gorleston-on-Sea, Hemsby, Caister-on-Sea, Winterton, California, Newport and Hopton-on-Sea, all offering entertainment for a family holiday, as well as the pretty Broadland villages and countryside can be explored by car. RSPB reserve at Strumpshaw Fen, 3 miles. Norfolk’s finest sandy beaches are 12 miles. Also accessible by train is the fine city of Norwich only 8 miles away, with its excellent shopping, theatre, restaurants, inns, cafés, castle and museums. For fun-filled family days out there is Thrigby Hall Wildlife Gardens with a renowned collection of Asian mammals including birds; you will also find reptiles in the pleasantly landscaped gardens. Close by, the village of Strumpsham has a steam museum, and Reedham offers Pettitts Animal Adventure Park. BeWilderwood and Pleasurewood Hills Theme Park are not far.
