We back right onto the Torridge estuary, with a terrace from which you have beautiful unobstructed views and can watch the numerous activities happening on the water. The house is just a 3 minute walk accross the bridge to the main town where there are all the necessary amenties. We are situated in a narrow street so parking is provided free of charge in the car park only 150 metres away. The famous 'Tarka Trail' is behind the house only 100 metres away. This is a cycle and walking trail along a disused railway running beside the sea and rural woodland and meadows for 30 miles. If you bring your bikes they can be stored in the shed in the garden. The nearest beach is Westward Ho! which can be reached by car in 10 minutes. Well known ones such as Croyde, Woolacombe and Bude are all within easy travelling distance. There are lots of things to do and children will love the Exmoor Zoo, The Big Sheep, The Milky Way pleasure park, to name but a few. If you are walkers, then North Devon has wonderful cliff walks and we are a short walk from the Souh West Coast Path. There is lots to do in and around Bideford. It is well catered for with 3 supermarkets, all only a very short distance from the house. Bideford and its nearby neighbour Appledore, are seafaring towns with lots of history to explore. The North Devon Coast is stunning with wonderful cliff and seaside walks. There are numerous nearby beaches so you have a daily choice!
