United States of AmericaThe Rockingham is fine the staff are friendly and the location is just right for what I need.
United KingdomWentworth is a little lovely village. We used it as stop for Peak District. The Inn itself has a lot of character being a 200+ old building. The rooms are just across the street from pub so there is no noise or food smell coming from pub. Staff were very friendly and accommodating.
United KingdomThe property was quaint and provided good value. We arrived at the end of a tiring day and couldn’t quite work out how things worked ( it was under Covid restrictions). The staff sensed this and accommodated our needs. The food was very good. We thought we had booked B and B rate but had to pay extra for breakfast which we did. The breakfast was inexpensive and like our evening meal delicious and provided excellent value.

United KingdomIn a great location for visiting elderly relative. Pub serves food and the village also has a Bistro, a quaint tea shop and 3 restaurants at the garden centre...all a short walk away. Wentworth Woodhouse and the garden centre with animal farm and play area are on the doorstep. Pretty village. Lovely walks to Tankersley and to Elsecar. Short drive to Elsecar Heritage centre. Elsecar park and reservoir.

United KingdomNIce hotel in a lovely village, we had a quiet room at the rear of the building which is much quieter than the front. The pub it belongs to is a really nice old country pub with excellent garden and parking. The staff are excellent!! Only 15 mins from the M1 which is a bonus.

The Rockingham Arms by Good Night Inns is located in one of the most beautiful parts of Yorkshire within a 15-minute walk of England's largest stately home, Wentworth House. Sheffield, Rotherham, Doncaster and Barnsley are a 20-minute drive away.
A flat-screen TV and free Wi-Fi are included in each quiet, bright and refurbished room. Rooms are located in the country house opposite the main pub building.
A great-value menu is available all day, every day at the traditional pub and restaurant. The pub has 6 guest beers on hand-pulled pumps, including some from Wentworth Brewery. Enjoy the large beer garden on hot summer days.
Couples in particular like the location – they rated it 9.2 for a two-person trip.
