My home is in a quiet area of Hadleigh. We are very near to some lovely countryside but also minutes from the town with all its amenities. The house is very comfortable and welcoming. Each guest has their own private bedroom but can use the public area such as the kitchen, shower room, bathroom, dining areas, office/ snug and the garden with its dining and seating area. Nelly my small dog and Kitty an elderly cat also live in the home. They are both very friendly.

Hadleigh has a lovely Country Park where the 2012 Mountain Bike trails were held. In the park there are some great play areas, walks, lakes for kayaking, bike hire, cafe and events are often held there. At the end of the lane to the house is the remains of Hadleigh Castle. Great picnic area with views over the Thames Estuary and North Sea, Southend Pier and the lovely town of Leigh on sea. Leigh on sea is a short drive and here you will find the train station with trains into London. Old Leigh has a beach and also an old fishing village with lots of pubs, fish and chips and tea shops. In the main town of Leigh on sea you’ll find trendy bars, cafes and restaurants and some independent shops. Great place for an afternoon to mooch about. Southend on sea with its amusement park and arcades is 5 miles away.
