Perfect for families couples or friends. Families We welcome families and on request can supply a travel cot (must bring own bedding), highchair and baby bath. West Cliff You have the beautiful Crescent Gardens with colourful flower beds and benches to sit and relax. 0.5 miles to the beach. Town centre, bars and restaurants within 0.5miles. A short stroll you will find the outdoor paddling pool, crazy golf, pitch and putt, foot golf (Easter-October), skateboarding, bumper boats, a tourist shop selling bucket and spades and ice creams. Whitby Leisure Centre is close by for indoor swimming. Whitby Pavilion All year you will find lots of events and entertainment, such as music weekends, Gospel Music, Craft Fairs, Scooter Rally, Goth and Steam Punk Weekends. Whale Bone Arch The Whale Bone and The Statue of Captain James Cook, can be found South of Crescent Gardens with spectacular views of the piers and Abbey Ruins. West Pier Stroll along the West Pier to see the Lighthouse. Harbour A bustling fishing Harbour with plenty to do and see, catching a boat trip or just watch them come in and out. A popular choice for children is crabbing. Town With lots of independent shops, restaurants, cafes and bars, you will be spoilt for choice. Make sure you explore the old town over the swing bridge with its narrow cobbled streets.
