Shorefield is a warm and cosy house, it's not modern and could do with a wee bit of a refresh but guests love it because it is full of character and charm. The owners have had to leave Islay and they have left all their interesting books and art in the hoouse for people to share. Their love of birds and wildlife is evident as soon as you step into the house. If you're looking for a modern house setting then our other house Portbahn would be more suited to you. This is a quaint and cosy cottage set back from the road and surrounded by wildlife. The kitchen / dining room is all open plan perfect for a group get together.

The house is within walking distance of Bruichladdich village and Distillery. You can also walk to Port Charlotte and shortly there will be a footpath opposite the house which will take people safely from Bruichladdich to Port Charlotte. Plenty of pubs and restaurants in Port Charlotte and Bowmore and the supermarket is only a 15min drive away.
