Great location, lovely and quaint, had everything we needed for very short stay....Lisa the owner was superb by letting us check in early and made a genuine effort to welcome us.....it was very clean, comfortable beds and even a small welcome package of bread, jam, milk, tea etc was lovely idea and very much appreciated....

If you're looking for stylish sleek and modern lines this is not the place for you! It's a quirky relaxed old cottage with a log burner and some amazing walks on your doorstep. The property overlooks Middlewood Way so nature is right on the doorstep and the Macclesfield canal is also 1 minutes walk around the corner. Check out my guidebook for more details.
I'm only next door if you need anything during your stay. if you're bringing your furry friend there are lots of dog friendly places in the village and surrounding areas but if you decide you want to go out for a meal and the few that don't allow them and your dog has met me and is friendly I can pop in and check they're ok
The property is 5 mins drive from the heart of the village, Poynton is a vibrant and picturesque village. With lots of independent shops, cafes, restaurants and foodie pubs. A post office, Several supermarkets, pharmacy, hair salons, beauticians and much more.. The train station has direct services to Manchester City Centre. The village is also accessible by bus or a pleasant 30 mins walk but if you want to relax away from the village the local local pub is just 2 mins walk away, with guests ales, wide variety of gins and a good Sunday roast!
