We had a very large, comfortable bed and a room with a bath. The windows opened on to the car park which we thought would be a problem but it was quiet even though there was a wedding event fairly close by. We slept well.
The breakfast was a full English buffet with a wide assortment of pastries, cereals, fruit and yoghurt as well.
The staff were excellent, organising taxis to the event we were attending.
We had a lovely bar meal on our return in the evening.

Partially within the Peak District, Sheffield is best known for being the setting of ‘The Full Monty’, a film whose title means the whole works. Indeed, vibrant Sheffield has the whole works - excellent shopping, great nightlife and an impressive sporting heritage.
It first came to fame during the Industrial Revolution for its pioneering role in the UK steel industry. One technique invented here is commemorated in the name of its most famous theatre – The Crucible, home of the Snooker World Championships.
Close by are the peaceful Winter Gardens with their multi-arched roof. The Peace Gardens are overlooked by the elegant town hall, and the focal building of the impressive Botanical Gardens somewhat resembles Crystal Palace, also by the same architect.
The city’s 2 football teams – Sheffield United and Wednesday – play at Bramall Lane and Hillsborough Stadium respectively. The cutting-edge English Institute of Sport is also based here, and the nearby Sheffield Arena is a prime UK venue for music and entertainment. The best shopping is found in the Meadowhall Centre near Rotherham.
Booking.com’s Sheffield accommodation includes city centre hotels with parking, others by Victoria Train Station, and guest houses near Doncaster Sheffield Robin Hood Airport.

Sheffield is a wonderful city that doesn't pretend to be London. More quiet, friendlier and down to earth, a classic working class city with a rich history and many beautiful spots to disover, especially many amazing parks and lots of nature within the city.
We visit Sheffield a lot often stay at this hotel good location short walk from train and bus station clean comfy rooms and most of the staff very friendly and helpful We ate in the bar one night the food was surprisingly nice and reasonably priced for a City centre hotel
Comfy and clean rooms. A bit of a walk from city centre but obviously not the hotels fault, owners were amazing, booked us cheap cabs, accommodated an extra bed and sorted us out. Definitely recommend
Stayed with dogs and the room was ideal. Hotel is not far from city centre, but in a quiet neighbourhood with a beautiful garden. We usually stay here now when we visit family in Sheffield.
A cheap hotel which is in Sheffield city centre and ideal for our larger group who were happy to sleep in a triple single room. Clean enough and a decent size room.
