We had a wonderful stay at Village Hotel Ashton. Everything was perfect from start to finish. The staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always happy to help. The hotel was spotless, and the cleanliness throughout was outstanding. The facilities were excellent, especially the swimming pool, which we really enjoyed. The service was professional, efficient, and made us feel comfortable throughout our stay. Thank you to the entire team for making our visit so enjoyable. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable and welcoming place to stay. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

The location and premises were great. I enjoyed having a nice pint of cider at the bar. The staff were all friendly and helpful. I am not used to the British cold so it was really nice to have a space heater in the room. There is a lot of restaurants and a Supermarket/mall a couple minutes away. The tram is less than 10 minutes away, and the buses even closer. If the opportunity to return to Sheffield comes, this is the first place I’ll look for a room. Thank you Garrison!

We were suprised by and really enjoyed Sheffield.

We were suprised by and really enjoyed Sheffield. It's a city in transition with interting industrial history a great gallery in WinterGarden where we bought some gifts and enjoyed the icecream. We enjoyed a great meal at miller and Carter, a terrific steakhouse in the city centre with excellent service and food. Our time here ended up being too short and we would have loved to have stayed a few more days.

Buxton is a pretty spa town with lots to see on the heritage trail and plenty of places to eat and drink. Our accommodation was a 45 minute walk from upper Buxton and 55 from the main town. As a group of 4 adults we enjoyed sampling some of the bars and restaurants. We particularly liked The Tap House Brewery, Trackside and Santiago. The Olive Tree restaurant in upper business was great for my daughter's birthday meal. We did several walks in the surrounding area and visited Hathersage Lido which was incredible.

My father worked at Woods Glassworks as a gatherer and my great grandfather as a glass blower. I actually worked at Redfearn Glassworks myself for a short time .
