The neighbourhood The house is located in Mottram St Andrew and is just a 10 minute walk away from Prestbury Village via a footpath. Here, you can enjoy perusing the boutique shops, before dining at one of the many restaurants or champagne bars. Just a 20-minute walk in the other direction, the footpath is accessible to Champneys Spa at Mottram Hall Hotel. The house is also a 2-minute drive from Champney’s for guests attending weddings or functions at the hotel. The Golden Triangle is an area of affluent small towns consisting of Wilmslow, Alderley Edge, Prestbury and Mottram St Andrew. It is sometimes referred to as the 'Footballer Belt' and is home to not only premier league footballers but also celebrities, entertainment industry figures and successful business associates. There are plenty of countryside walks from the doorstep, including Teggs Nose, Macclesfield Forest, The Edge and Lyme Park. Or, if you’d like to take it one step further, the beautiful Peak District is only a short drive away for long-distance hikes and scenic strolls. Tatton Park in Knutsford also makes for a great day out. As well as a range of seasonal events, concerts and walking trails for all the family, there’s space to cycle, picnic and spot wildlife.
