Slatters Cottage is a Grade II listed, 17th century self-catering cottage in the heart of the North Cotswolds providing easy access to the local Cotwold towns, villages and tourist attractions. Set on a quiet lane in a typical Cotswolds village, Slatters Cottage is a quintessential English country cottage which provides a perfect place to relax and unwind. With inglenook fireplace and log burning stove, the cottage has beautiful views over the award winning village of Bourton-on-the-Hill.

We are in the heart of the small village of Bourton on the Hill and close to the Grade 1 listed church. The church clock chimes reassuringly in the distance every 15 min. In the village there is a Pub - the Horse and Groom and a garage with a small convenience store. The Cotswolds are best enjoyed with access to a car as there are infrequent buses which connect the local villages. It is c. 30/40 mins walk to Moreton in Marsh with shops, bars and restaurants and a direct train connection to Oxford and London. We provide a welcome basket of logs during the winter months. After that guests should purchase further logs, kindling and fire lighters from local super markets/ garages In keeping with Slatters being a 17th Century property the internal stair case is steep with a hand rope bannister. Unfortunately the cottage is not suitable for for those with additional accessibility needs. Please do not book if you are unable to climb steep stairs.
